Elmo gets vaccinated “Television or Propaganda? As of yesterday the well known television show “Sesame Street” just vaccinated Elmo! Does Elmo even get Covid? As far as we checked our beloved puppet is made of fabric, so it doesn’t seem like Elmo has much to worry about does he? However that didn’t stop Sesame Street from vaccinating Elmo! Seems odd doesn’t it?

As the video progresses, what seems to be Elmo’s parent, addresses the audience with this line. “ I was concerned at first at giving Elmo the vaccine, but it turns out it was was the best option to keep Elmo safe, his friends, his neighbors and everyone else to continue enjoying the things that they love.” Woah, seems like there is a great deal of inadvertent manipulation going on here!

As Russell Brand stated, (well known YouTuber), “it seems odd that Sesame Street, a show whose responsibility is to teach the alphabet and numbers is now imposing the power of the state!” Yes it is odd indeed, Sesame Street seems a bit out of their league on this one. Like Russell Brand stated, what’s next, “snuffellufagus takes on gun control, big birds stances on polygamy?” Oh boy, what’s going on here?

Because of this, there are high debates regarding the Corona Virus, known corruption within pharmaceutical companies. This attention has brought about anti-vaccine movements, and multiple controversies. Due to this, it seems highly irresponsible to place the dilemma and explanation of such a highly debated and controversial topic in the hands of Elmo and Sesame Street. I mean, where are the medical professionals, or medical debates?

The public wants real information! Frankly, being told by Elmo’s caregiver that we should vaccinate our kids, is not only highly odd but irresponsible. In addition, the arguments are not very compelling and seems to fall more in line with propaganda. Because of this, Senator Ted Cruz had some words to say about the Sesame Street episode. “ Thank you for pushing the narrative that parents shouldn’t have questions, also there is no scientific evidence to back your claims!”

As a result, the tweet has sparked debates with some stating there will be a meltdown from right wingers about the puppet getting vaccinated. However, the issue doesn’t lie there for us at Daily anti-brainwash and many others including Russel Brand. For Example, the issue lies with a Children’s show placing what only appears to be indoctrination. Such an issue should be discussed by medical professionals and qualified individuals not “Elmo.”

Moreover, what makes this act by Sesame Street appalling is the fact that the minimum age for vaccination in children has been highly debated amongst the nations politicians. Consequently the CDC has urged that they are safely monitoring the administering on its affects in young children. However, many are not convinced.

In addition, there are people who oppose such a vaccine unto their children, yet it is being encouraged by Sesame Street. Regardless, Sesame Street still aired the episode without any sort of authorization or warning to children or parents. Equally important to note, the CDC stated “there is no outcome data for children 5-11 years of age in Covid-19 shots or boosters shots. In the same regard, how can this information be entirely trusted, let alone, justify Sesame Street telling children to get the vaccine without warning?

Interestingly, Dr. David Kimberlin, the editor of the American academy of pediatrics Red book, spoke on his own behalf stated, “not vaccinating children would create confusion for adult and child populations.” Yea Dr. Kimberlin? I suppose we should vaccinate chairs, cups, and notebooks as to not create confusion in those populations as well. Let’s just vaccinate everything, that seems to be the answer! What a joke.

All Jokes Aside

It’s important to note that a natural immunity is apparent in everyone who contracts a virus or disease. In regards to Covid -19 and children, 75% already have a natural immunity. (CDC). Similarly CDC data from New York stated, children and their natural immunity are 2-3 times more effective in preventing Covid infection. However, this doesn’t seem to matter to the CDC or Sesame Street. As a result, It is baffling all the provided information has not been discussed by Sesame Street. Due to the lack of openness, it seems it is still okay to push the need for vaccinating children.
