Big Tech “The New Government.” Big tech censorship is occurring profusely more than ever. What if the right for freedom of speech, those rights granted in the, 1st and 14th Amendments were no longer guaranteed by the constitution. What if the ability express information, ideas, and opinions free of government restrictions based were censored on an increasing scale. What if eventually, this led to total censorship, and the ability to express or advocate personal views were gone.

This appears to be everything opposite of what America stands for. You would probably become extremely upset and would do everything in your power to never let this happen correct? Wrong, we haven’t. Here’s how we contributed to gradual diminish of freedom of speech. In addition we will do our best to explain how your rights and freedoms are being handled, not by your government, but by giant tech companies such as Facebook.

Trump Vs Big Tech

Throughout the years there has been a slow transition of authority of free speech handed over to Big Tech. For example, during the Trump administration, as controversial or agreeable as their comments may have been, there were statements made that big Tech just did not like. Statements such as, “Fake News,” “Drain the Swamp,” and “Make America Great Again,” etc.

Trump had a myriad of statements against Washington and Big tech medias. The former president often cited, Facebook, Washington, Twitter and media organization such as CNN as fake news. Because the government could not take away the right of free speech, they found a clever way to remove it from Trump. In addition, the public was in all out support of censoring the former president.

However, what they didn’t realize was, they made a terrible mistake. They allowed Big tech to censor speech under the approval and overall consensus of a few in Washington. Because of this, this act has unfolded the largest big tech censorship that the world has ever seen.

The Bigger Picture

Try to put all debates aside, and focus on the principle enactment that is occurring. This principle is basically stating, that whether you are pro life and believe all life is sacred, or pro choice, which believes life and choice is sacred there is is something key to understand. The state and Big tech do not have an idealogical stance. Their main motive is derived from profit and control.

Take a moment to consider how the pandemic, mandated the Covid-19 vaccine and even how the January 6th procedures regulated ordinary life. The pandemic regulated how to behave, and where to social distance,. This included what to wear and who to meet. The vaccine regulated where you could work, how you could work and what you could do with your body. Even the January 6th procedures in essence, have regulated protests and brought about an anti-protest regulation, possibly hindering the people’s ability to protest in the future.

The Public is Blind

Take a moment to realize how the public is letting a centralized government and big tech, slowly control their lives. Maybe you have been guilty of it too? When the pandemic started, or what some call the plan-demic, the public actively encouraged regulation. This allowed the states control personal, professional, and public life. They allowed the government to regulate, larger behaviors in life, such as, how they spent their time, how many people they could spend time with, even how the were with them.

Furthermore, the public has slowly granted government the ability to regulate what is voiced online. This has come in forms of who can voice online and what issues are appropriate to discuss. This process was regulated through multiple censorship. Examples include, conservative speech, speech against Biden or his administration, speech against Covid-19, anti-vaccination speech, and anti abortion speech.

Putting tribal and political affiliations aside, it is important to understand the practicality of what is happening here. Free speech is being placed in the hands of algorithms and faceless bureaucrats. These entities and systems benefit off controlling the population. The ability to control how you act, what you say, what you think, and what you cannot say, is power. This being said, the plan is likely to gain all out control.

The danger of Censorship

Let’s try an exercise. Take a moment to clear your mind, forget what identities you hold, and forget what ideologies you are opposed to. Now imagine you have different ideologies and different oppositions unrelated to modern controversies. Now picture that this world contains big tech which censors your voice and views. How would you feel? You are unable to voice what you think, you can no longer protest, lastly, you cannot inspire change opposite to norms. Is that a world you want to live in? Does this seem okay? Does it sound familiar?

Well this very process of censorship is precisely what is occurring now. The only difference is, it is one sided, and it is occurring slowly. Tech censorship is in its initial stages, however, don’t be fooled, it is growing fast.

We believe that human beings deserve total body autonomy. Regardless of their views, no one, or, thing, should have the right to censor in mass scale. Opinions and views need to be heard so that discussion arises. If there are views which one may consider negative, than the ability for that individual to communicate with the other, is vital for democracy and stability.

Censorship is affecting all sides

On the contrary, when this no longer happens, people in return cannot communicate, and a lack of communication eventually brings about chaos. Unless someone or something does all the communicating and thinking for them. Hmm, well that sounds a lot like what Big Tech and Facebook are doing right now doesn’t it? I wonder what they’re getting at?

Recent articles from Vice showed, that Facebook began censoring and removing posts under a different category. After the supreme court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, posts began to spread on Facebook on where to receive abortion pills through mail. The tech giants began censoring these post imemdiatley. Why is that, weren’t they mainly censoring the right? Let’s look deeper. Because of this the associated press launched its own investigation to validate the validity of these claims. It had created posts regarding where to find abortion pills, then, those said posts and accounts were both flagged and banned within minutes by Facebook.

Given the latest information it appears Big Tech is upping its game on censorship. The very political party that encouraged censoring the right, is now being censored themselves. This just shows and further proves that algorithms and faceless bureaucrats do not care about people or their political ideology. They only care about how much control they are allowed over society. I’m addition, they are very much concerned on how quickly they can gain control as-well. It seems, maybe Big Tech censorship is not the solution.

Big Tech Immunity

Given all the stated information we have began to slowly understand Censorhsip. It is apparent that Big Tech does not care about your idealogies. Big Tech does not care about your fundamental beliefs. Big Tech does not hold onto an Ideology, they are faceless and robotic, kind of like Mark Zuckerberg. Actually picture big tech as mark Zuckerberg, odd, inhuman, robotic, monotone and almost soulless.

That’s right, Big Tech doesn’t care about you or your problems. Whenever the political tides shift, Big Tech shifts. When legislation was anti-Trump , Big Tech was anti-Trump. Now abortion legislation, has brought about abortion censorship. The reason for all this comes down to motives, profits and power. Business and large cooperations will cater to whichever side is in power. They do this in order to fall within good graces of regulation.

We should fight back Big Tech censorship. It’s Dangerous! Bottom line, there will likely be a point where Big tech will tire of accommodating to the political swings. As Big Tech grows larger and more profitable in our daily lives, so does it’s control and influence. Consider Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and all the other Big Tech giants. With money comes power and they earn billions.

With Profit comes Power

With billions they can influence, they can lobby their positions in government, corrupt political offices and control the narrative. With enough access and control of your life, thought and data, they won’t need government. There will be a point where Big Tech will slowly assimilate itself as the ultimate and unofficial government. State and federal governments will become puppets to Big Tech through payouts.

With an entity only motivated on profit, power and control, there’s no telling what they will do. I starts with censoring our voices, such as in “Facebook,” and our lives, as in “Pfizer,” controlling our bodies etc. When Big Tech has enough control, and are allowed to dictate how either side should think, what they can think, or what they can do, it becomes flashing red flag. If censorship continues, big tech will profit off of all of us. Again, profit is power, and power controls. There is no Sympathy for ideologies , just plans for growth and interest.
